Is there any effective way to access Video from Samba?

I've searched many relative questions in the forum.the most useful questions are:

1.android-smb-streaming

2.Android ServerSocket programming with jCIFS streaming files

I use the open-source library android-smb-streaming.But it can not work with some file types(i.e. .rmvb). I want to know how does the ES File Explorer work normally?

I've been working for many days trying to learn and implement...But the result is very disillusionary.
